Unless otherwise indicated, recipes on this page are my own personal method.
Combine chosen ingredients in a small jug and whisk together until combined into a creamy and smooth dressing. Use immediately or store in a jar in the fridge for a short while, shaking the jar to re-mix ingredients before use.
Mix together 2 parts extra virgin olive oil to 1 part white wine vinegar and a little black pepper. Add a little Dijon mustard and/or herbs if required.
(Alternatives: use red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, cider vinegar or another fruit vinegar)
Olive oil & Lemon/Olive oil, Garlic & Lemon Dressing (an alternative to classic Vinaigrette)
Mix together 2 parts extra virgin olive oil to 1 part lemon juice. Garlic can be added: a mild flavour can be got from rubbing a cut clove around the mixing pot, adding finely crushed garlic gives a stronger flavour
(Alternative: use lime juice)
