(Meander back to my first Blogiversary!)
There have been a quite a few changes to the list in the past year. The most viewed recipe has not previously appeared in the top ten and only three recipes remain from last years list. Last year I wondered where Fragrant Marmalade Cake would reach after twelve months as it had a large number of views in its first month. Here is the answer: still popular, it is at No 2. Will it every get to No1, I wonder?
I have continued to post both family recipes and new discoveries from magazine articles and the many books I own or get from the library. However, for every one I post there are more in the pipeline, so watch this space!
Thank you for reading this post and for visiting my meanderings especially if you have commented, voted, subscribed or linked to me. Thanks so much for this, v. informative! My blog only been going about 8 months but attracting some numbers now, so really good to see how you have built your traffic along the way. Best of luck, from other sources I think you have done amazingly well.

Welcome Skyler:
I’m glad you have found my meanderings helpful. Stats information is transient and I find it helps if I make a note of it. This post is as much for my own encouragement and to help me see which posts are popular.
As for getting more traffic, as you are in the UK why not join the UK Food Bloggers Association where you can tell everyone about your latest posting on the group called I’ve Blogged. Lots of friendly people there and plenty of great ideas!
Thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to comment. Always good to make new e-friends. Please visit again … why not sign up so my Meanderings come straight into your inbox too.

Goodness doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun. I’m assuming this isn’t an April fool and it really is two years since you started ;-) Congratulations and well done. You have a great blog here and obviously lots of other think so too. Good Luck for the coming year.

Thanks for your good wishes Choclette. It’s definitely not an April fool. I just wanted to start posting on the first of the month and April was the nearest month! … and yes I am still enjoying myself and hope the family (my willing guinea pigs) are still enjoying my foodie experients too!

Congratulations on your blogversary! You have certainly been busy, I am always surprised by some of the posts that are the most popular on my blog, but if you run a giveaway it blows everything else out of the water!

Thanks Janice: I surprised myself at how busy I had been – one of the advantages of keeping track of stats.

Congratulations! I’ve been blogging regularly for about 7 months now and I find it so exciting the way each month there are more visitors overall, even though day to day it varies a lot.

Thanks and welcome Corina. I know exactly what you mean about watching the stats – after two years I still enjoy seeing them go up and down, but overall it is exciting to see the gradual increase. However one of the best bits is the personal contact and making new e-friends!

Thank you Celia
It will certainly be a full year: we have a 25th wedding anniversary in the Summer and potentially some other big changes as well! I have some lovely recipes in store for this blog, too, but it will be interesting to see how much I diverge from my plans!
… and blogversary? blogoversary? blogaversary? … I spelled mine to go with anniversary! There are so many versions out there, I wonder if there is a right one!?
